Welllll.....

So the other night Mason was extremely hungry and was ready for dinner.  He just kept on and kept on about being ready to eat.  I told him as soon as I finished dinner and we had the table set, we would eat.  So the next thing I know, I look over and see the sweetest sight ever.  A two-year old's version of setting the table and it looks like this:

He got a fork for every person at the table and got it reasonably close to their spot.  Love him so much!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Our morning on Valentine's Day was extremely hectic so I only had time to get a picture of Maddie but I think she looks so pretty so I wanted to share!

Micah's Class Valentine's Day Party

Micah had a fun time at his Valentine Party!  They decorated a cute little mailbox and then had some treats.  Then they got to do their favorite thing - open their Valentine's.

Crazy (but Fun) Day!

So quite a while back I heard from one of my dearest friends, Heather, that she was coming to town and wanted to get together.  And we made some plans and it just happened to fall on the same day as the Father Daughter dance that Mark and Maddie wanted to attend.

So we started the day off by meeting Heather and her boys and the Flynts at Chickfila for a quick lunch.
These two haven't seen each other for a while and quickly found their own table and got reacquainted.

And here is the boy table, minus Mason who got to sit with Mom.

After we ate lunch, we all headed over to the Renassaince Hotel where Heather was staying at let the kids swim while the adults visited.  The kids swam for 2 1/2 hours and had a ball- they hardly ever needed us for anything and we got to do lots of catching up.  Such a fun time with some of my most favorite friends.

The whole crew after lots of swimming.  These are some TIRED kids!!

So after we left swimming, we rushed home and Maddie hopped into the shower quickly so she could get ready for the dance.  She looked beautiful (of course) and they had a great time.  They went to Genghis Grill for dinner, then the dance, and finished up their evenings at Andy's for some custard.

While they were having fun at the dance, Mama and her boys watched a movie and cuddled in the chair.  Fun night for all!!

Super Bowl Fun

So when you have a winter that is full of ice and snow, lots of planned activities get canceled.  Our Sunday School class was planning a Super Bowl party but we got quite a bit of snow so we had to cancel.  I had already bought the ingredients to make these fun football Oreo truffles so Maddie and I made them to enjoy with the family.  Don't be deceived though.  Just because we made a dessert shaped like footballs does not mean that we actually watched any football because I assure you that we did not.  Well, that applies to me and Maddie at least.  Mark did watch the game :)
